Skyn Iceland is a brand to watch. It caught my attention a couple of months ago and, of course, since then I have been desperate to find out as much as possible about their products. The range is created to address the effects of stress on skin using pure and potent natural ingredients from Iceland. I know Skyn Iceland have been around for quite some time and, having tested out a couple of their products, I am kicking myself for not discovering them sooner.
A product that has become my daily essential is the
Skyn Iceland Icelandic Relief Eye Pen (£17.50, from
here).

This claims to minimise puffiness, wrinkles and dark circles and to revive skin. There are some ace ingredients in this product, including flavagrum, rice peptides, orange peel and cotton powder. The pen is travel friendly and you simply twist bottom of it and 'click' the product onto applicator (and then dab some on under eye area). Firstly, this gives an instant cooling sensation and feels like it actually wakes up my tired peepers in the morning. I love how refreshing it is and love the energy boost I get from it. Secondly, I actually believe this does de-puff and reduce dark circles. Yes, a lot of eye products claim to do both, but I haven't come across many that have actually been effective. The Icelandic Relief Eye Pen is different. It feels soothing and actually brightens my dark circles. Also, because it is so refreshing and cooling, I get the feeling it de-puffs and sort of revives the skin. I really cannot fault this product and find that, at £17.50, it is a steal (as it does so many wonderful things).
While I'm on the Skyn Iceland subject, it is also worth showing you a set they launched recently. It is called
Icelandic Relief Kit (available
here) and consists of four products:
Here we have:
Relaxing Bubble Bath,
Arctic Face Mist,
Glacial Cleansing Cloths and
Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels. This kit retails at £30 and is a great introduction to the 'world of Skyn Iceland', plus, with Chrostmas just around the corner, this would make a great present, too. I have tried the Arctic Face Mist (a must have soothing and energizing mist for sensitive skins) and the Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels (10-minute treatment for firmer, younger looking eyes) and can say I loved these just as much as the eye pen.
Skyn Iceland have a nice, clean, simple packaging and their products - from what I have tried - all feel like they take care of the skin. If you feel yours is in need of some (Nordic) TLC, then this is a fabulous brand to look into. I am definitely hooked.
The Skyn Iceland products are available to buy from
Marks & Spencer.
I need to check these people out th.....the eye pen sounds great x
