Sisley Confort Extreme - Relief for very dry, sensitive skin

I hardly ever write about products aimed at very dry and sensitive skin, so I think it's time I shook things up a bit. It is difficult for me to review something that's not suitable for my skin type, but I have gotten a good friend of mine to test out two moisturisers for me. They are a day and night cream and are both from the very high end French skincare brand Sisley. Confort Extreme moisturisers are so rich, I can't use them on my face at all (and my skin is seriously dehydrated at times!). My friend's been using both - the Confort Extreme day and night creams - for a few weeks now and here is what she has to say about them:

"My skin is extremely dry and sensitive and I really struggle to find products that will soothe, repair and nourish it properly. 90% of moisturisers I have tried, have irritated my skin. I get rosacea often and it seems to flare up whenever I try a new product. So I was very surprised when Sisley's Confort Extreme day cream actually soothed my skin. This cream is very thick and buttery and doesn't absorb into skin straight away, but it calms and refreshes instantly. I usually wait 5-10 minutes before applying my make up over it and the results are great. I haven't had any major redness or any irritation since I started using this and my skin is a lot less dry. It feels comfortable and nourished, which is a first for me. Also, my make up looks great and lasts really well when used over this moisturiser. I love the natural glow this product has given me.

The night cream is a lot richer and feels even more nourishing and repairing than the Confort Extreme Day Skin Care. When I first started using it, I had a very bad rosacea flare up on my cheeks so it was a perfect opportunity to put it to the test. I applied a thick layer before going to bed and woke up to find the redness had gone! I have never - hand on my heart - found a product that soothes so intensively and that works so fast. Confort Extreme night cream works wonders overnight and gives my skin plenty of hydration while I sleep. Because of its very powerful soothing properties I would also recommend it to anyone suffering from eczema. It is more than just a night cream - Confort Extreme Night Skin Care is a treatment and a very effective one at that.
