Just launched: Chanel Christmas 2012 Eclats Du Soir De Chanel

I'm a day late with this, but thought it's still worth posting about the newly launched Eclats Du Soir de Chanel collection. Chanel's Christmas Make Up Collection is available to buy from Chanel counters nationwide NOW and, if you haven't seen the new products yet, then this is the perfect opportunity to have a sneak peek at the said collection.

The look Chanel have created is very vampy, very bold. It is elegant, as always, and very seductive. The outstanding products from this collection are, for me at least, the Regard Signe de Chanel Quadra Eye Shadow in Harmonie du Soir (£43), the Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour in L'Impatiente (£25) and the Le Vernis Nail Colour in Malice (£18). Here all three on Chanel's promo shot:

However, the three new Glossimers - Allegorie, Mystery and Intrigue (£21 each) - are quite hard-to-resist too. I'm not usually a huge lip gloss fan, but I do rate Chanel's Glossimers very highly, plus these three look like easy-to-wear, flatter-all-skin-tones shades.

If you like a bit of sparkle in your powder, then the new Poudre Universelle Libre in Reverie (£34) is a wonderful choice. It is a great loose setting powder but contains a tiny bit of shimmer - ideal for the festive season (and for any night out!). The Joues Contraste in Star Dust (£31) is a pale dazzling, shimmering pink and, again, a perfect party blusher (though, of course, you could wear it any day, every day).

Overall, this is a collection worth taking a closer look at - I've got a feeling, photos don't do it justice (though they certainly look "mouthwatering", if you can say that about make up!).

As I said at the start of this post, Chanel's Eclats Du Soir De Chanel Christmas Make Up Collection is available from Chanel counters now.
